I begun to draw my favorite guns because it was the only way I had to access them and imagine them in my hand.
The will to know more was stronger and all of my free time i dedicated to search and study the origins, the materials, the evolution and history of my favorite models. Then I begun to do my work to others upon request by identifying models of their own, making drawings to some collectors, doing reports on collection items and above all drawing and painting to sell.
I live in Sintra, Portugal, Have you heard of it? It's the land of artists here in Portugal.
I'm also a holster maker specialized in Old West Gunbelts.
I've been doing some expositions here in Sintra and some custom works to collectors.
I've a lovely son and a lovely wife that give me their support and have now their share of knowledge about the Old West and their guns.
In resume, I'm a familly man who once perhaps in a past life lived in a place where Values of Honesty, Loyalty and Respect were the main code and where the Gun and the History were Art

Colt New Model Navy of 1861
The most elegant and rare Percussion Colt Model. The favorite one of the Officers from the Union during the American Civil War (1861 - 1865). It saw its ending with the great fire that destroyed Colt Manufacturing Inc and also because of the birth of the metallic cartridge. It was manufactured between 1861 and 1873 and it was Quantrill's favorite model.

Colt Model Root Sidehammer 1855
This model was born with the inauguration of the new installations of Colt Manufacturing Inc in Hartford South Meadows, next to Connecticut river, a Colt Patent Fire Arms Manufacturing Company. Designed by Elisha Root, this model has the hammer positioned at the right side of the frame, the hided trigger and the axis pin is fixed in the frame. Elegant and with exceptionable portability characteristics, it was the revolver used by the famous Sulist General Robert E. Lee.

Colt Belt Model of Navy caliber 1851
This was the most famous percurssion model from Colt, being the first one presenting an excellent portability characteristics with a medium caliber (.36) and with an excellent precision. It is also famous by its elegance and balance. It was the model choosed by Wild Bill Hickok and Sam Colt himself. The illustrated models showed here were manufactured in Colt’s Factory in Pall Mall, Londres.

The most famous revolver in the world and the first metallic cartridge handgun adopted by the American Army. Known for its manstopping power (.45 Colt), roughness and simplicity, it was the close friend of cowboys, gunslingers, soldiers, scouts and outlaws. Earned several nicknames like thumbuster, hogleg, Jury of six, Equalizer and the most known “Peacemaker” (given by the factory). There is no western movie where this model don’t appear. Another version of the most famous revolver but with short barrel an no manual ejector. This model was made with bankers, storekeepers and other civilian citizens in mind. It was popular with Pinkerton investigators, famous by its pursue to the James and “Hole in the Wall” gangs

Colt Model Bisley of 1894
This model was born with the objective of giving target shooters a new weapon with better handling characteristics than the SAA. The most famous target competition at the time was held in Bisley, England ant it was from there that the factory took the name. The model is showed with a highly engraved holster and gunbelt and it saw service in the Pancho Villa campaign in 1916.

Smith & Wesson Schofield Model
This model was issued in 1875 from an adaptation of the famous model no3 of 1869. With a new lock system designed by Major George Schofield of the 10th Cavalry, it was the favorite model of many of the most notorious characters that wondered in the XIX century America. It was the biggest competitor of the SAA from Colt. It was also adopted by the US Army to fill blanks in its ranks. The illustrated model is serial no 273, that belonged to Jesse James, that according to the legend, was the gun that he had with him in the day he was killed by Bob Ford, 3rd April 1882.

Manufactured between 1861 and 1873, this model has the portability of the pocket Model with a superior caliber (.36). It was one of the backup guns favored by the Union Infantry. This model became popular due to its unique characteristics that combine portability to power. The model shown is one of the guns captured by the Confederate Troops.

Colt Single Action Model – Civilian Model 1878
Introduced in 1878, became the most popular version of SAA. Known as the Fast Draw Model, is considered one of the most well balanced guns of all times, being nicknamed as “The Perfect Gun”. It was the model choosed by Bat Masterson, the famous Marshall of Dodge City and Kid Curry, the notorious outlaw, member of the “Hole in the Wall gang”. In Hollywood it was the model used by John Wayne in most of his Westerns.
