I'm the owner of JDB Studios, here in Tucson, Az., offering Limited Edition, signed and numbered prints as well as one of a kind original commissioned art. I specialize in Graphite, (soft lead 2b pencil). This allows for the great detail I want in my artwork. I love working in black and white. I have been told that there are so many different shades in my work, that they almost seem like color. I am self taught when it comes to my Graphite work. Just seemed to come naturally.
One of a kind originals make for great gifts. Portraits of your friends, animals, houses, pets, etc., just about everything, make for great keepsakes. You can email me photos, mail photos, or if you are local, I can do the photography.
John has donated art for live auction for the University of Arizona Scholar's Fund held at the Mountain Oyster Club in Tucson, Az., 2008.
Original art of the 2005 Kentucky Derby winner was donated for Live Auction for the Catalina Rotary Club 3rd Annual Derby Day fundraiser in May, 2009.
